Our main service is the Parish Eucharist every Sunday morning at 10am. We have a thriving Sunday School, which covers the same topics the grown-ups are learning about in church. Our music is a good mixture of old and new, and is led by the choir and organ. The morning is rounded off with some high quality coffee and variable quality chitchat.

The present building was completed in 1878. It replaced a Chapel-of-Ease which stood on the site of the present Garden of Rest. This was originally used by Moravians from Fulneck and built by James Sykes, then Lord of the Manor. It soon passed into the hands of Baptists from Gildersome but when Sykes became a churchman he handed the Chapel over in 1813, on condition that the advowson was vested to him and his heirs.
