Super Soup Lunch

During Lent 2013 a group of people got together to provide fresh homemade soup each Friday to raise money for Christian Aid. After a very successful and popular campaign it was established that people enjoyed the event so much that they requested holding a “Super Soup Lunch” event once a month. This is normally held on the second Friday each month between 12:00 – 13:30 but is subject to change.

Open Church

St Paul's is open on Wednesdays from 2pm till 4pm. You can pop in for a cup of tea or coffee and a natter, just to have a look round, or to find a quiet place for reflection. There are often enjoyable craft activities available and there is always a friendly welcome.

ROCKS (6-10yrs)

A Youth Group for 6-10 year olds, which takes place from 6.15 - 7.30pm Thursday evenings. Contact Helen Rushworth on 0113 285 4997 for more information.

Youth Group (10yrs+)

For young people aged 10-17, St Paul's has a thriving Youth Group which meets every Friday at 7.30 pm at Drighlington Methodist Church. Games and activities are followed by a very popular tuck shop!

Children and young people from both Sunday School and Youth Group play an important part in church life, including hosting many successful fundraising events. A recent Fairtrade Stall manned by the young people raised well over £100! Another highlight of the year is the joint nativity production, an event which everyone looks forward to.

Contact Christina Bromley for details on 0113 2854187.

Junior Church

Junior Church meets every week at 10 am at the back of church. Topical bible stories are accompanied by fun craft sessions, and many of our regulars have been coming for years!

Please note, there is no Junior Church during the summer holiday period.

Little Angels (0-3yrs)

Carers and tots: this is for you! Little Angels meets each Monday 9.15-11.15 am during term time. Babies and toddlers up to 3 years old and their carers will find plenty to keep the young ones entertained. Simply come along on a Monday morning, or call Christina Bromley on 0113 2854187 for more information.

Choir

We have a small but growing four-part choir, which leads the singing in Sunday worship as well as singing a wide variety of anthems and other music.  If you are interested in singing with us, you are very welcome to sit in on a rehearsal or two either after a Sunday morning service or on Tuesday evenings at 7:30.
