We're delighted you're thinking of having your child baptised at St Paul's. Your child is precious to you and precious to God. At baptism you promise to raise your child to know God loves them, and to help them to follow Jesus as a member of the Church. In baptism, we thank God for his gift of life and publicly acknowledge his love. In the Anglican Church it is common to baptise young children; this is sometimes known as christening.
We are delighted that you are considering a wedding with us; our church really is the perfect setting for your perfect day. St Paul's is a Victorian church building with a traditional exterior, but the interior has been sympathetically refurbished to provide modern, bright and warm surroundings. This makes it comfortable for your guests and a joy for photographers!
A funeral is used to mark the end of a person's life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God's keeping. A funeral can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion depending on your circumstances. St Paul’s can seat 200 people and provide a balcony standing area.
